Intercom is a SaaS product that enables effective communication with customers using chatbots, live chats, and much more.

You can use Intercom with Document360 to provide realtime support to your end-user. Your support team can search for articles, in your Document360 knowledge base, within the Intercom chat box and send search results as responses to end-user questions.

To enable the Intercom integration in Document360, you will need an Intercom account and the Intercom workspace ID associated with that account. Once you’ve created an account:

  1. Find your Intercom ID.
  2. Copy the Intercom ID.
  3. Back in Document360, select Settings in the dashboard navbar, and then click Integrations.
  4. In Internal Integrations, click Add new integration.
  5. Click Intercom, enter a name and paste your Intercom App ID.
  6. Click Add.

This is how Intercom will look in within your knowledge base.
